Public health officials have determined that the source of the Harbour Breton cluster was travel-related.
Health Minister John Haggie says if no new cases are identified by Christmas Eve, the outbreak in that community will be considered to be over. The only change that will happen on that day will be that visitation at the long-term care unit at the Connaigre Health Centre will revert to pre-cluster arrangements.
The update comes after weeks of investigation into the source of the outbreak.
