Two men have been arrested after two separate violent incidents in the Stephenville area over the weekend.

A 32-year-old man is facing a charge of assault with a weapon after police were called to a home in Stephenville Crossing on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old Stephenville man was arrested after an assault at a home in the town early Saturday morning. The accused is facing charges of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.

In both incidents, the victims suffered what are thought to be minor injuries. The two accused were released on conditions to appear in court on March 8.
