The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s is experiencing some issues with its drinking water today.
The town says the problem is related to air in the water lines which is causing some interruptions in flow and possible discolouration.
Affected residents are advised to run their cold water tap until the water is clear.
The town apologized, saying the water is safe to drink and all issues should be resolved by the end of the day.
The problems were caused by unplanned maintenance on the system.
