The leader of the fledgling NL Alliance is not going to be a candidate in the election.

Graydon Pelley suspended his campaign a week ago because of a medical emergency, and he and his doctors feel that he should sit this one out.

He would have been a candidate in Humber-Gros Morne, but the party is not going to try to replace him in the district.

All other candidates will continue their campaigns as planned.
