A local minor hockey team is once again in the running to become the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup champions.
The campaign rewards the charitable efforts of young people with a $100,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
Last year, the Northeast Eagles won the whole thing, with their donation going to Rainbow Riders.
This year, the City Tire Blues of the Mount Pearl Minor Hockey Association are in the running in support of Kids Help Phone. The hockey team has been selected as a regional finalist for the cup.
Voting is open now on the Good Deeds Cup website until February 24, with the top three winners being announced on March 20.
