Educators across the province have had to get used to new office setups to adapt to virtual learning, and for one Mount Pearl teacher, that means teaching in the tub.
Danielle Leclerc teaches sixth grade at Mount Pearl Intermediate.
Leclerc says that she is a very visual learner and thus needs a big space to teach math and that the walls of her bathtub sparked an idea. After testing it out online with a few of her friends, she realized the space would make a good whiteboard.
She posted images of her classroom set up online, and they quickly gained attention.
Leclerc says teachers are adaptable because they have to change based on their environment and the needs of specific children anyhow.
