A local company has made a sizeable donation towards enhancing mental health supports for youth in Atlantic Canada.
Steele Auto Group has made a $100,000 donation to Kids Help Phone, the only 24/7 support service available online, by phone and by text.
The company says the donation will help maximize access for kids in the region.
Last year, Kids Help Phone made over 4.5 million connections with people seeking help across Canada. That’s in comparison to 1.9 million connections in 2019.
More information about the organization’s services is available on the Kids Help Phone website.
