A local security company is making an effort to recognize its workers from Coast to Coast.
Paladin is a security company that operates right across Canada. When pandemic lockdowns began almost one year ago, there was a noticeable increase in security workers at essential businesses to help with crowd control and capacity limits.
Now, Paladin is looking to recognize its workers by creating a national program, whereby frontline workers will receive a customized Challenge Coin.
The coin has a long-standing tradition in both the military and law enforcement.
The custom coin is marked with “COVID-19 Global Pandemic” on the top, and “Essential Worker” on the bottom.
Over 300 employees will receive the coin in St. John’s. They will be given out between now and March 5.
