Newfoundland and Labrador’s Sarah Hill rink is a perfect 2 and 0 so far at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Calgary.
They hung on to defeat New Brunswick 8-7 in their opener on Saturday but had an easier time of it yesterday, defeating Nunavut 9-3.
Hill and her St. John’s rink of third Beth Hamilton, second Lauren Barron, and lead Adrienne Mercer play Prince Edward Island today at 5 p.m. NST.
The task gets tougher Tuesday, though, when they go up against Manitoba and British Columbia.
The national women’s curling championship is going ahead without fans at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
