Phone and internet services on a portion of the southern Avalon have been restored after a service interruption earlier today.
Bell Aliant says a fibre cut was responsible for the disruption in service to the 521 and 525 exchanges in the St. Mary’s Bay area.
Officials have not yet provided information on the cause of the fibre cut.
