The province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health says variants of concern, like the UK variant responsible for the latest outbreak, will continue to come into the province through travel.

That’s why Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says adhering to self-isolation is so important for those entering the province, including rotational workers.

All rotational workers, both Canadian and International, regardless of whether they come from an outbreak site, are required to self isolate for the full 14 days.

They cannot leave their property for a walk or a drive and they cannot interact with their family unless the entire family is also isolating.
