The President of the FFAW is thanking firefighters for their quick response to a suspicious fire at their headquarters on Hamilton Avenue early Sunday morning that had the potential to do significant damage.
The FFAW is calling it an attack. RNC are continuing their investigation.
Union President Keith Sullivan says while the building sustained mostly water damage, the incident had the potential to be far worse.
The building is in a residential area in close proximity to homes, which is a serious concern says Sullivan.
Sullivan has no idea who might be responsible and is leaving the investigation to police.
