The issue of vehicles being parked on residential lawns is back on St. John’s city council’s agenda today.
Council will decide whether or not to amend current by-law around parking vehicles on lawns.
This isn’t an issue of changing the rules—it is already illegal—it’s more so about clarifying them.
Council is looking to take out some ambiguous language to make the law clearer, thus improving compliance and ensuring consistent enforcement.
Today’s city council meeting will take place at 3 p.m.
