The RNC is warning the public about the presence of dangerous synthetic opioids manufactured to look like prescription medication.

The RNC’s Drug Investigation Unit says Fentanyl and a synthetic opioid known as Isotonitazene have been found in pills seized by officers.

The pills are manufactured to mimic prescription medication like Dilaudid or OxyContin.

Investigators warn of life-threatening consequences for those who ingest Fentanyl or Isotonitzene. Even a minuscule amount could be fatal.
