RNC say they received information shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday that Pynn had turned himself in at provincial court. Pynn was wanted on charges of theft and failure to comply with a court order as the result of a recent theft at an east-end St. John’s business.
Pynn has more than 100 convictions on his record, including one for manslaughter in the 2011 shooting death of his friend, Nick Winsor. He is being held pending a court appearance.
Meanwhile, Pynn’s older sister Felicia was a no-show for her arraignment in Supreme Court yesterday.
She’s charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and break and enter with intent.
The chief justice asked lawyers to attempt to reach her or, failing that, for her to be arrested.
