Supreme and Provincial Courts in Central Newfoundland are adjusting how matters will be heard for the rest of this week.
The move is in response to much of the region moving to Alert Level 4 amid the current COVID outbreak.
Courts in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor will move back to virtual means for urgent cases unless a judge decides the matter must be held in person.
Civil matters set this week in provincial court have been adjourned indefinitely, and the parties will be contacted about rescheduled dates.
Parties are advised to contact the courts to check on the status of their case.
