A 29-year-old Marystown man is facing drug charges after a recent traffic stop in the town.
Burin Peninsula RCMP stopped the car on McGettigan Boulevard around 2 a.m., Tuesday morning.
Police say Terrance Adams—the lone occupant of the car—was arrested and a quantity of cocaine, more than $1,000 in cash, and other items consistent with drug trafficking were seized.
Adams has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and was released on conditions.
The investigation continues.
