Labrador-Grenfell Health is reassuring the public following what the health authority calls misinformation being circulated regarding health services on the tip of the Northern Peninsula.
The health authority says no cuts are being made to programs or services in the St. Anthony area.
Labrador-Grenfell Health assesses population needs and adjusts services over the summer months to allow for employees to get time off.
The process, which includes discussions with leadership on the ground, regional programming, and tertiary sites, is part of regular operations.
The health authority says in addition to that no changes to ambulance services are being implemented and they are continuing to operate at full capacity through the region including working with partners in St. Lunaire-Griquet.
