Eastern Health has launched a virtual care survey as they look for feedback from the public about their experience with virtual medical appointments.
Virtual care refers to any health care appointment that was not in-person, and instead via computer, landline or cell phone, or other device.
The feedback will be used to help improve the experiences of patients with such technology in the future.
As the pandemic continues, so will virtual appointments with Eastern Health which allow people to see their health care team, or doctor, from home and in some cases eliminate the need for travel.
The survey, which will be anonymous and confidential, can be completed online or by telephone.

•To complete the survey by phone, please call toll-free 1-833-544-2076 and leave a message with your name, contact information and preferred time to participate in a telephone survey (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). A surveyor will call you back at the designated time to assist you with completing the survey over the phone.
•The survey will be open until the end of June 2021.
The survey should take about 5 to 10 minutes to complete and is open to all patients and clients aged 18+ who attended a virtual health care appointment with Eastern Health.
