Conception Bay South is forging ahead with plans for its community park development.
The town council has approved the Land Use Impact Assessment Report for phase two of the project.
The report offers short, medium and long-term recommendations to ensure the integrity and longevity of the park, as well as the mitigation of environmental impacts.
Some of the recommendations for the phase two development include the addition of further vegetation throughout the site for soil stabilization and the placement of key infrastructure above the level of recent storm surge events.
The town explains that while no significant concerns were found, they do plan on implementing all recommendations.
