Six new confirmed positive cases and two probable positive cases of COVID-19 are being reported in the province today.
Four of the cases are males under 20-years-old in the Western Health region and are related to the cluster in that area.
The fifth case is a man in his 40s and is also related to that cluster. They are all close contacts of previously identified cases.
The sixth case is a male under 20 in Central Health and is related to travel within Canada. The two probable cases are also in Central, however, they are related to the cluster in the Central Health region.
The source of the infection for the Western and Central clusters is still under investigation.
Following 20 recoveries, there are 40 active cases in the province, with no one in hospital due to the virus.
