Most City offices and facilities are closed in St. John’s today due to the June holiday, however, some remain open.

Garbage and recycling will be collected today and the Robin Hood Bay facility is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Paid parking will be enforced, as today is not a Shops Closing Holiday, and public washrooms will be open at Bannerman Park, Bowring Park and Quidi Vidi Lake.

All recreation facilities will be closed.

In addition, the City is recognizing today as National Indigenous Peoples Day, while St. John’s Days events that formerly took place during this time have been discontinued.
