Second dose COVID-19 vaccination appointments opened up today, however, most clinics on the island are already booked up.

Last week, Public Health announced that people could bump up their second dose appointments and that they would become available today.

All appointments previously scheduled for after August 6th were canceled.

While more appointments were set to open today, many were successful in booking a second dose earlier last week.

Meanwhile, there will be no COVID-19 update again today, due to the Provincial holiday. An update on the province’s COVID situation will come in a news release tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
