The redevelopment of the Avalon Mall has been going on for the past three years—now it’s time to celebrate the completion.
The project, which cost $100-million, resulted in significant changes and expansion.
Several events are planned this weekend including a drive-in concert featuring Tim Baker on Thursday, children’s events on Friday, an official grand reopening and grand prize giveaway on Saturday, and a classic auto show in the parking garage on Sunday.
First Light-St. John’s Friendship Centre will be presented with a donation to the First Light Centre for Performance and Creativity, a new Indigenous-led arts centre that will provide an artist-friendly presentation space for all artists while prioritizing Indigenous music, dance, and professional practice during the grand reopening on Saturday, June 26 at 2 p.m.
It's another tickets night for our outdoor drive-in Tim Baker concert! 50 tickets on sale tonight at Guest Services, starting at 7:00 until tickets are sold out or closing hours.
