A woman was arrested at an apartment complex in Kilbride last night after assaulting another person.
The 32-year-old has been charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, being unlawfully in a dwelling, and breach of probation.
Eyewitnesses say a young man was stabbed several times but the RNC would not confirm that. They did say that his injuries are not life-threatening.
The incident unfolded at about 7:00 last night at Meadowland Manor.
The suspect was taken to the lockup for court this morning.
