There are just six active cases of COVID-19 remaining in Newfoundland and Labrador as the province has gone another day without any new positive tests.
Only one new case has been reported since last weekend, and the active case count has seen a steady decline into the single digits.
The province reported six additional recoveries today, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,366. There is now one person in hospital in connection with the virus.
Public Health’s investigation into the Western cluster continues with no source of infection yet confirmed.
A total of 45 cases have been linked to that cluster.
