A local dermatologist has been recognized for his dedication to his field with over three decades of practicing in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Canadian Dermatology Association granted its lifetime achievement award to Dr. Wayne Gulliver—the first Newfoundlander or Labradorian to receive the honour.
The association says Dr. Gulliver has acted as an advocate to increase rural access to dermatology in this province, and has made significant contributions to research and expertise on a global scale.
