The RNC had several disturbances on their hands over the past 24 hours.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, police in the centre city area of St. John’s arrested a male youth after an officer was assaulted. He was charged accordingly on that count but also faces charges of breaching a release order, uttering threats, and property damage. He will appear in court today.

Around the same time, police arrested a female youth in Conception Bay South for breaching court orders. She too will appear today.

Also last night, a 50-year-old woman was arrested after a complaint of property damage in the centre city. She was also tagged with breaching court orders.

And a 22-year-old man was charged with assault after an incident downtown around 8 p.m.
