A man has been arrested after an incident at a downtown hotel in St. John’s.
It happened in a room at the hotel at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. The RNC says a 21-year-old man has been charged with assault, forcible confinement, and overcoming resistance to an offence (choking).
He will be in court today.
The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.
