Two of the province’s independent MHAs have joined together in calling on the province to take action on significant delays and frustrations faced by residents at Motor Vehicle Registration.
Paul Lane and Eddie Joyce say they’ve been inundated with calls and messages from frustrated residents who have been unable to get in touch with anyone at Motor Registration.
Others say they’ve been unable to book appointments within a reasonable time frame.
Joyce, the member for Humber-Bay of Islands, says he spoke with several seniors yesterday who were left standing for hours on the designated drop-in day for seniors.
They’re calling on the minister to intervene and ensure that citizens are able to access the necessary services.
