Transportation and Infrastructure officials are continuing to assess damage to roads in the St. Mary’s Bay area caused by Hurricane Larry.
A section of the highway between St. Vincent’s and St. Stephen’s remains closed as crews assess damage and erosion caused by the storm.
One lane is open on the North Harbour Road while crews evaluate the damage, while drivers are asked to stay off the Lower Road on the North Harbour-Branch highway due to erosion.
The road in Harricott, St. Mary’s Bay is also closed due to erosion over a 300-metre segment. Engineers were out gauging the damage yesterday.
Updates on the progress of repairs will be provided later this week.
