The annual two-week Tombolo Multicultural Festival kicks off this evening at the Arts and Culture Centre in St. John’s.
This year festival organizers are welcoming people back to a number of limited in-person events, while adhering to Public Health advice.
The festival launches tonight at the Arts and Culture Centre in St. John’s with a concert featuring multicultural concert“>Wesli, a Haitian-born musician and performer based in Montreal.
Executive director Zainab Jerrett says area residents can also take in a variety of multicultural food and crafts at the St. John’s Farmer’s Market this Sunday.
Vendors from all over the world will be there to sell their products and will include a multicultural fashion show.
A is also scheduled for this Sunday at the Arts and Culture Centre, the tickets for which are free, and available at the Arts and Culture box office.
