The investigation continues into a fatal crash on Pitt’s Memorial that claimed the life of a motorcycle driver and sent another person to hospital.

The victim, a man in his 60’s died at the scene after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a dirt bike near the Trans Canada Highway early Saturday afternoon.

The driver of the dirt bike was taken to hospital.

The crash forced the temporary closure of all four lanes of Pitts Memorial and caused lengthy traffic delays as traffic both in and out of CBS was diverted onto the Trans Canada.

Police are asking witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage around the time of the crash to contact them.
