The host of VOCM Open Line, Paddy Daly, is the recipient of this year’s Canadian Mental Health Association Newfoundland and Labrador’s Media Award.
The award recognizes an individual who has shown outstanding quality promotion and awareness of mental health issues in the province.
Daly has been a vocal advocate for many people struggling with mental wellness issues over the years, however, the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted his abilities to help people navigate challenging times.
