A 33-year-old is facing additional charges for trying to escape after being arrested for a disturbance on a Metrobus.
Around 9:30 p.m. last night, RNC were called to the centre city because of a suspicious man on a Metrobus.
The 33-year-old man was taken into custody for breaching his parole.
However, at the lockup, the man attempted to escape but didn’t get very far before police caught him again. During the altercation, a police officer was injured and treated at the hospital.
The man now faces an additional charge of attempting to escape custody.
