There’s an avid discussion going on in social media regarding a tweet by Memorial University about the master plan it’s in the process of composing.
MUN tweeted yesterday an artist’s rendering of an outdoor ice-skating trail, something similar to the Loop at Bannerman Park.
The university asks what people think of the idea of building such a facility. A lot of the comments being posted on social media suggest that MUN first upgrade existing facilities such as the Aquarena. Posters also note that at the same time is MUN talks about building new facilities, tuition is poised to increase significantly.
