New and returning members of St. John’s city council will be sworn in today.
During the municipal elections held on September 28th, all incumbents who ran again regained their seats, with three of those winning by acclamation.
There will be four new names in the council chambers as of today, those are Jill Bruce, Carl Ridgeley, Ophelia Ravencroft, and Ron Ellsworth.
The new council will be quick to get to work, the regular weekly city council meeting is taking place today at 3 p.m.
