The Newfoundland Growlers’ training camp for the upcoming season officially kicks off today.
It has been a long time coming—with the 2019-2020 season being cut short by the pandemic, and the team opting out of last year’s season under the ECHL’s COVID-19 Voluntary Suspension Policy.
Six days of training are scheduled over the next week, most of which will be taking place at the Glacier in Mount Pearl.
The Growlers begin the season on the road in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, and will have their fist home game in nearly two years on November 5 against the Adirondack Thunder.
The Growlers have announced the hockey club’s 2021 training camp roster.
