RNC Traffic Services, in coordination with Operational Patrol Services and RCMP, launched Operation Impact over the Thanksgiving weekend.
The province-wide effort saw the issuance of 282 tickets, including nine vehicle seizures, with drivers having their licenses taken.
The majority of tickets were speed related, with 175 speeding tickets on the Northeast Avalon alone.
There was also one impaired driver, five operators without insurance, and five infractions under the Motorized Snow Mobile and ATV Act.
