Labrador-Grenfell Health has announced that there will be no physician on-site at the Strait of Belle Isle Health Centre in Flower’s Cove until November 12.
During this time, regional nurses will continue to provide on-site routine, urgent, and emergency care.
Non-emergent situations will be supported via virtual consultations with a physician.
Urgent and emergent issues will be covered virtually by the Emergency Department at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony.
In case of medical emergencies, residents should call 911.
