The former Chief Financial Officer of a Liberal Party campaign is facing fraud charges in connection with missing campaign funds
Former CFO of the Liberal’s Harbour Grace-Port de Grave District campaign, Cory Trask of Upper Island Cove, is charged with taking around $9,000 dollars from the campaign.
On June 15, Bay Roberts RCMP were made aware of the suspicious activity following a forensic audit.
The 42-year-old is facing charges of fraud, theft, and breach of trust.
He is set to appear in court on November 24.
