A woman is facing assault charges following an incident in the capital city yesterday evening.
Shortly before 8:00 p.m., RNC were called to a serious assault in the Gower Street area of St. John’s.
The Major Crimes and Forensic Units were called in, and arrested a woman for assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and breach of a release order. She was held to appear in court at a later date.
