The wheels are in motion to implement rapid testing in schools in the province.
Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, says the province is leaning towards implementing the tests in K-12 schools, however the logistics are still being worked out.
She says the process will take consultation with the school districts and regional health authorities to ensure they are going about it in the proper manner.
Dr. Fitzgerald says those conversations are happening to develop a plan.
There will be no COVID-19 advisories over the weekend.
