The Minister of Health and the President and CEO of Eastern Health will today provide an update on the internet outage that has disrupted services across multiple health authorities. Minister John Haggie and David Diamond will be speaking to media at 11 a.m.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information is assessing the matter and working with Bell Aliant.
Affected services include the province’s COVID-19 Travel Form, the COVID-19 Assessment and Referral Form, the COVID-19 Out-of-Province Proof of Vaccination and the COVID-19 Results Portal.
There is still no word on what is causing the outage, but the department says that further information will be released as it becomes available.
