A police officer was nearly struck by A vehicle last night in Pouch Cove after trying to arrest a man.
The RNC pulled over the 18-year-old at about 10 p.m. but he suddenly hit the gas, nearly striking an officer. After a short investigation, RNC identified and located him.
He was charged with dangerous driving and flight from police. He was released to appear in court later.
