A sad end to a missing person’s case in the Central region.

The RCMP have confirmed that the body of a Spingdale man, reported missing last week, has been located near the town.

The body of the 61-year-old was found on an ATV trail Monday.

The family has been notified.

Police say no criminality is suspected.
