Two impaired drivers were nabbed by west coast RCMP over the weekend within one hour of each other on Saturday.

First, a 20-year-old woman was stopped in Pasadena shortly before 11 p.m. for failing to stop at a stop sign.

She was arrested for impaired driving and blew nearly three times the legal limit.

Then, about an hour later a 34-year-old man was pulled over on Burnt Islands. It was discovered that he had open alcohol in his vehicle, and back at the detachment blew one and a half times the legal limit.

Both drivers has their licenses suspended and vehicles impounded. They are both set to appear in court at later dates.
