The 24-hour parking ban in the capital city comes into effect tonight.

As of 10:00 p.m., all on-street parking outside of the downtown is prohibited for 24 hours a day until lifted to improve snow clearing efforts.

Any vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed or towed.
