There were no injuries, but a family of six—including four young children—lost their home and belongings in a fire in Grand Bank Wednesday evening.
The fire destroyed the family’s mobile home on Mistywave Crescent.
The Canadian Red Cross helped the family of two adults and four children, all under the age of five, with emergency lodging and meals, new clothing, transportation and other essential items.
The Salvation Army also provided them with help including emergency shelter and clothing donations.
