Emergency services at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence are being temporarily diverted to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin.
Eastern Health made the announcement Monday evening, noting that the shift to Burin will be necessary as of 11 p.m. Tuesday until 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Patients requiring emergency care during that time should call 911 or go right to the health centres in Burin or Grand Bank.
Patients can also call 811 to speak with a registered nurse for further information.
